Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD OF TREATING ELECTRODEPOSITION RINSE WATER BY REMOVING AT LEAST A PORTION OF THE SOLIDS CONTAINED THEREIN. THE PROCESS OF THE INVENTION COMPRISES SUBJECTING ELECTRODEPOSITION RINSE WATER TO ULTRAFILTRATION. THE SOLIDS WHICH ARE CONCENTRATED BY THE PROCESS, IF DESIRED, MAY BE RETURNED TO THE ELECTRODEPOSITION BATH DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, WHILE THE ULTRAFILTRATE MAY BE USED AS A RINSING AGENT.
