Abstract
Abstract Electrical connector formed of a beryllium copper spring metal and situated to make electrical connection between the ground planes of separate MIC substrates. The connector is resiliently seated in retaining slots in the base of the housing and formed to extend above the plane of the base in which the grooves are formed to make contact between ground planes of the separate MIC substrates. The spring metal is formed with a heat treatment to provide hardness and spring tension that assures a reliable electrical connection.
