Abstract

Abstract A hanging type bottle for use in dripping fluids into the body of a patient. The bottle contains a protective tube of plastic which adheres to the body of the bottle and a disc-like member attached to the outer bottom surface of the bottle. The disc-like member contains integral hanging rings and serves as a cushion and noise dampener. The disc-like member is secured to the bottle by an edge of the protective tube. Should an accident occur which results in breakage, the protective tube prevents the broken bottle from being scattered over a wide area. Standard type bottles can be used without the necessity of providing grooves, etc. in the body of the bottle for suitably hanging the bottle.

Claim 1
Independent Claim 104 words
A dripping type bottle comprising a protective tube which is caused to adhere to the body of the bottle by heat-contracting a plastic film on said body, a disc-like member of soft plastic attached onto the outer bottom surface of the bottle, said disclike member having an inner opening and at least one hanging ring integrally formed therein, said disc-like member being fastened to the outer bottom surface of the bottle by the engagement of one edge of the protective tube which is bent inwardly at the lower end thereof and said disc-like member having a sloped portion on the peripheral side surface thereof.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 104 words
A dripping type bottle comprising a protective tube which is caused to adhere to the body of the bottle by heat-contracting a plastic film on said body, a disc-like member of soft plastic attached onto the outer bottom surface of the bottle, said disclike member having an inner opening and at least one hanging ring integrally formed therein, said disc-like member being fastened to the outer bottom surface of the bottle by the engagement of one edge of the protective tube which is bent inwardly at the lower end thereof and said disc-like member having a sloped portion on the peripheral side surface thereof.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 105 words
A dripping type bottle comprising a protective tube which is caused to adhere to the body of the bottle by heat-contracting a plastic film on said body, a disc-like member of soft plastic attached onto the outer bottom surface of the bottle, said disc-like member having an inner opening and at least one hanging ring integrally formed therein, said disc-like member being fastened to the outer bottom surface of the bottle by the engagement of one edge of the protective tube which is bent inwardly at the lower end thereof and said disc-like member having a circular projection provided on the peripheral side surface thereof.
