Abstract

Abstract A phototransistor automatic gain control circuit for compensating for variations in intensity of radiation impinging upon the phototransistor. The phototransistor is operated in the knee portion of its characteristic curve. The voltage across the phototransistor is varied in order to vary the gain of the phototransistor to compensate for variations in intensity of the radiation.
