Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A PROCESS FOR SEPARATING WATER FROM A REACTION MASS OBTAINED BY THE CATALYTIC OSIDATION OF OLEFINS TO THE CORRESPONDING ALKYLENE GLYCOL DI AND MONO ESTERS. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE INVENTION TEACHES A METHOD OF SEPARATING WATER FROM THE HALOGEN CONTAINING COMPONENTS OF THE OXIDATION CATALYST.
