Abstract
Abstract A solid end static discharger for use with aircraft, the discharger employing a solid resistive rod having pre-determined electrically conductive characteristics and terminating outwardly in a machined end. An electrically conductive ionization bypass may be employed to over-fit portions of the solid rod to shunt extremely high electrical energies to protect against electrical overload.
