Abstract A novel dyestuff having the general formula (WHEREIN R1 represents an alkyl or an acyl group, R2 represents hydrogen, an alkyl or an aryl group, X represents hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl or an alkoxy group, A represents benzene or naphthalene nucleus which may contain one or more substituents of an alkyl, an alkoxy, nitro amino, substituted amino, or phenoxy group or halogen atom and Y represents an anion) and which dyestuff can dye polyacrylonitrile and cellulose acetate fiber with excellent fastness to light and heat.
