Abstract PHOSPHONATED POLYOXYALKYLENE ETHERS ARE PRODUCED BY REACTING A HALOGEN-CONTAINING POLYOXYALKYLENE ETHER WITH AN ALIPHATIC OR AROMATIC PHOSPHITE. THE RESULTING COMPOSITIONS ARE USED TO PREPARED FLAME RESISTANT, NON-RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAMS.
