Abstract THE COVER OF A SUCTION BOX CONSISTS OF UNITS JUXTAPOSED OVER THE WIDTH OF THE MACHINE AND INDIVIDUALLY FASTENED TO THE RIGID BASE OF THE BOX. EACH UNIT CONSISTS OF A GROUP OF PARALLEL RAIL SECTIONS SPACEDLY JUTAPOSED IN THE DIRECTION IN WHICH THE FOURDRINER WIRE OR SCREEN MOVES OVER THE COVER AND OF ONE OR MORE SUPPORTING ELEMENTS SECURED TO ALL THE SECTIONS IN THE GROUP AND CONNECTING THE SAME INTO A UNIT.
