Abstract PERHALOGENATED FLUOROCARBONS, E.G., PERFLUOROCARBONS AND/OR CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS, CONTAINED IN A MIXTURE TOGETHER WITH PARTIALLY HALOGENATED FLUOROHYDROCARBONS, E.G., CHLOROFLUOROHYDROCARBONS, ARE SEPARATED AND RECOVERED BY DEHYDROHALOGENATING SAID PARTIALLY HALOGENATED FLUOROHYDROCARBONS TO THE CORRESPONDING OLEFINS WHICH ARE THEN HALOGENATED TO PERHALOGENATED FLUOROCARBONS. THE RESULTANT MIXTURE IS THEN FRACTIONATED TO SEPARATE AND RECOVER THEPERHALOGENATED FLUOROCARBONS.
