The improvement as recited in claim 3 wherein said control means includes alarm switch means connected in series with said second contact means and said alarm means, said alarm switch means being closed after completion of a copying cycle to energize said alarm means if said control means is not in said second state in response to said second signal.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
121 words
The improvement as recited in claim 1 wherein said control means includes actuating means for operating the copy sheet feeding mechanism and relay means having hold-in contact means and contact mEans normally closed when said control means is in said second state and connected with said actuating means, said first detecting means includes normally open switch means generating said first signal when closed and connected to energize said relay means when closed to open said normally closed contact means to prevent energizing of said actuating means, and said second detecting means includes normally closed switch means generating said second signal when opened to deenergize said relay means and close said normally closed contact means to permit energization of said actuating means.
