Abstract
Abstract A device for altering a lock cylinder to receive a new key comprises a plate which is adapted to be secured to the entrance opening of the lock cylinder and which is formed with one or more projections in order to define a new configuration of the key access opening in order to alter the lock so that it must receive a new key. The entrance plate is formed with a projection which may be selectivey located in respect to the previous access opening and the key which previously fit into the lock must be altered to define a recess to accommodate the projection in order that it may be received in the lock.
