Abstract

Abstract A vacuum switch apparatus comprising a vacuum switch having a pair of electrodes, and a series circuit consisting of a resistor and capacitor disposed between one of said electrodes and ground to suppress the oscillation of abnormal voltage generated at the opening of said switch. The resistor preferably has a value of 100 ohms and the capacitor preferably has a value of 0.1 Mu F.
