Abstract THE NOVEL COMPOUND, N-(4-FLUOROPHENYL)-2,3-DICHLOROMALEIMIDE, HAS BEEN FOUND TO POSSESS GOOD FUNGICIDAL PROPERTIES, PARTICULARLY FOR SUCH PLANT DISEASES AS TOMATO DISEASE, RICE FLIGHT, ANTHRAX DISEASE IN CUCUMBERS AND BLACK SPOT DISEASE IN CITRUS FRUIT. THIS COMPOUND CAN BE EFFECTIVELY USED IN LOWER CONCENTRATIONS COMPARED WITH PREVIOUSLY KNOWN FUNGICIDL MALEIMIDES.
