A dual value document, comprising a sheet of flexible material having a middle section and first and second connected and detachable end sections defined by lines of division, the middle section and the first end section having cooperating printed matter thereon spanning the line of division therebetween to indicate that a document consisting of the middle section and the first end section has one value, the middle section and the second end section having cooperating printed matter thereon spanning the line of division therebetween to indicate that a document consisting of the middle section and the second end section has a different value, the cooperating printed matter on the middle section and the first end section being rendered undecipherable should the first end section be detached, and the cooperating printed matter on the middle section and the second end section being rendered undecipherable should the second end section be detached.

A dual value document, comprising a sheet of flexible material having a middle section and first and second connected and detachable end sections defined by lines of division, the middle section and the first end section having cooperating printed matter thereon spanning the line of division therebetween to indicate that a document consisting of the middle section and the first end section has one value, the middle section and the second end section having cooperating printed matter thereon spanning the line of division therebetween to indicate that a document consisting of the middle section and the second end section has a different value, the cooperating printed matter on the middle section and the first end section being rendered undecipherable should the first end section be detached, and the cooperating printed matter on the middle section and the second end section being rendered undecipherable should the second end section be detached.

A multiple value document in accordance with claim 1, further comprising an additional middle section of the sheet of flexible material, the additional middle section being connected to the first-mentioned middle section and one of the detachable and sections and being defined by lines of division, the additional middle section and the first-mentioned middle section having cooperating printed matter thereon spanning the line of division therebetween to indicate that a document consisting of said additional middle section and the first-mentioned middle section has a different value than either of the above-mentioned documents, the cooperating printed matter on the additional middle section and the first-mentioned middle section being rendered undecipherable should those sections be detached.
