Abstract
Abstract A catheter is provided in the form of an open ended flexible tube, the tube having an intermediate slitted portion. Each of the two sections of the tube adjacent the slitted portion is shaped outwardly into an arched configuration. A pair of electrodes are mounted in the interior of the portion of the tube between the slitted portion and the open end. A slidable plunger may be mounted in the tube, and which can be moved into position to prevent fluid flow through the tube.
