Abstract
Abstract A valve system is disclosed in which a main control valve is controlled by either one of two pilot stages. Each stage operates to control the main valve to make one condition of the output follow a corresponding input signal closely. Control of the main valve may be transferred from one to the other pilot stage either manually or automatically. In one embodiment, transfer occurs as the magnitude of one of the conditions reaches a predetermined threshold.
