Abstract
Abstract The present disclosure relates to the method for attaching backhoe which comprises disconnectably suspending the slide-bed provided on the swing bracket of the back-hoe on the mountadopter provided on a tractor-shovel or bulldozer in such a manner that said slide-bed can be slid in the lateral direction to the effect that digging operation on the side of the body can be smoothly carried out even if said slide-bed be made smaller than the width of the body, and the connection or disconnection of back-hoe can be simply and smoothly carried out at any time.

Claim 1
Independent Claim
145 words
A method for attaching a back-hoe comprising: the suspending of a back-hoe on a slide bed by means of a swing bracket attached to said back-hoe in such a manner that said swing bracket is laterally movably securable to said slide bed; the suspending of said slide bed from a mount adaptor attachable to a tractor, in such a manner that said slide bed is laterally movably securable to said mount adaptor; the moving of said back-hoe along said slide bed to a desired position for use thereof; and the securing of the back-hoe in the selected position relative to said slide bed by a first releasable securing means; the moving of said slide bed along said mount adaptor to a desired position for use of said back-hoe and the securing of said slide bed to said mount adaptor by a second releasable securing means.
Claim 2
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
155 words
A method for attaching a back-hoe according to claim 1 wherein said mount adaptor is attachable to said slide bed in any one of a plurality of predetermined positions established by said second releasable securing means, there being a receiving member attached to said slide bed at the lower portion thereof and having a plurality of evenly spaced grooves in an outer edge thereof, a hook-shaped member attached at an upper portion of said slide bed in parallel spaced relationship to said receiving member, said mount adaptor having an engaging plate attached to one end thereof and having upper and lower edge portions, said method including sliding said slide bed along said engaging plate between said hook-shaped member and said receiving member; and securing a binding tool in one of said grooves so as to bind said slide bed to said engaging plate in one of said predetermined positions from which said back-hoe is operable.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
70 words
A method for attaching a back-hoe according to claim 2 wherein a binding tool having a screw portion is disposed in said groove and extends through the opposite side of said receiving member, said binding tool also having a mating surface corresponding to a back surface portion of said engaging plate, said method including binding said engaging plate against said slide bed by tightening a nut on said screw portion.
