Abstract COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A PYROLYZABLE OLEFIN-SO2 POLYMER HAVING UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED THERETHROUGH A FINELY DIVIDED INORGANIC FUSIBLE OR SINTERABLE MATERIAL, FOR EXAMPLE, SEALING GLASS. THE COMPOSITION CAN BE EXTRUDED INTO TAPE FORM, THE TAPE APPLIED TO A SURFACE OR BETWEEN SURFACES, AND THEN HEATED TO A TEMPERATURE SUFFICIENT TO PYROLYZE THE POLYMER INTO GASEOUS COMPONENTS AND ALSO SUFFICIENT TO SINTER OR FUSE THE INORGANIC PARTICULATE MATERIAL ONTO THE SURFACE OR SURFACES.
