Abstract
Abstract Benzene derivatives of the formula: D R A W I N G WHEREIN R4 represents, for example, a hydroxy group, or an optionally substituted ureido or thioureido group, which possess similar pharmacodynamic properties. WHEREIN R1 represents alkanoylamino of not more than nine carbon atoms, R2 represents alkyl of one through six carbon atoms, and R3 represents alkyl of one through six carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of three through six carbon atoms, possess pharmacodynamic properties and are useful in the treatment of various cardiac disorders. Moreover, they can be used as starting materials for corresponding compounds in which the ketone group -COR2 is replaced by a grouping
