Abstract PAPER ARTICLES HAVING A COATING OF VINYLIDENE CHLORIDE COPOLYMER AS A BARRIER TO MOISTURE PENETRATION ARE FURTHER COATED WITH AN AQUEOUS COMPOSITION TO IMPART "SLIP" TO THE COATED PAPER. THE "SLIP" COMPOSITION CONTAINS PARAFFIN WAX, SODIUM ALKYL SULFATE, A BINDER POLYMER SUCH AS STYRENE-MALEIC ANHYDRIDE COPOLYMER AND OXIDIZED POLYETHYLENE.
