Abstract

Abstract An electrically responsive heat generating device for use with existing thermally sensitive sprinkler heads for individually or collectively activating the sprinkler heads in response to electrical stimuli from smoke detectors, heat detectors or other alarm circuits. The sprinkler release incorporates a mounting bracket to overfit the sprinkler head body or other fixed construction to position a heat generating device to impinge adequate heat upon the sprinkler fusible elements to activate the sprinkler head.
