Abstract Cosmetic compositions and methods of applying the same are provided wherein the compositions contain 1-15 percent of dimethylolalkyleneurea or dimethylolalkylenethiourea as the primary active ingredient dispersed in a compatible carrier conducive to the application of the cosmetic composition in cosmetically effective amounts.
