Abstract
Abstract Production of polymers of conjugated dienes and/or vinylsubstituted aromatic compounds utilizing, in said production, polymerization initiator compositions comprising reaction products of C2-C12 alkyllithiums with monomers from the group of polymerizable conjugated dienes and polymerizable vinylsubstituted aromatic compounds in a medium of aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons and/or aliphatic tertiary monoamines or aryl ethers, the conjugated diene and vinylsubstituted aromatic compound portion of said initiator compositions being relatively nonpolymeric.
