Abstract
Abstract A process for dissolving solid rubber articles such as tires into a liquid vehicle which comprises contacting the rubber while immersed in the liquid with a source of ultrasonic energy whereby the bulk rubber effectively disintegrates upon contact and dissolves into the liquid.
