Abstract
Abstract Disclosed are phosphide halides of cadmium, cadmium-zinc, and mercury which are semiconductors and which may be doped with materials such as indium, copper, magnesium, and the like. The compositions are useful in semiconductor devices such as thermistors, rectifiers and visible light and infrared detectors.
