Abstract
Abstract A fuel assembly for a nuclear reactor cooled by a moderating fluid. The assembly has flow tubes that extend beyond the inlet of the assembly and provide positioning and support structure when the assembly is mounted in the reactor. Flow is regulated through the flow tubes by orifices upstream of these tubes.
