Abstract A FERTILIZER CONSTITUENT OF AMMONIUM SULFATE FOR DRIED FERTILIZER BLENDING IS PREPARED BY GRANULATING THE AMMONIUM SULFATE IN A DRUM GRANULATOR USING A CONCENTRATED LIGNOSULFONATE SOLUTION AS A BINDER, COATING THE GRANULATED PARTICLES OF AMMONIUM SULFATE WITH MOLTEN UREA TO HAVE THE UREA SOLIDIFY UPON THE SURFACE OF THE AMMONIUM SULFATE PARTICLES, AND CONTACTING THE COATED PARTICLES WITH A DRY POWDER AS AN ANTI-CAKING AGENT.
