Abstract Esters of 3-hydroxy-2,2-dimethylpropyl 3-hydroxy-2,2dimethylpropionate with 3,5-dialkyl-4-hydroxyphenylalkanoic acids are stabilizers of organic material. The compounds of which 3hydroxy-2,2-dimethylpropyl-(3-hydroxy-2,2-dimethylpropionate)bis(3-(3'',5'' -di-t-butyl-4''-hydroxyphenyl)propionate) is a typical embodiment, are prepared through esterification of 3-hydroxy-2,2dimethylpropyl-3-hydroxy-2,2-dimethylpropionate.
