Abstract ABOUT EQUIMOLAR THERMOPLASTIC 3,3,3-TRIFLUORO-2-TRIFLUOROMETHYL PROPENE/ETHYLENE COPOLYMERS ARE PREPARED BY COPOLYMERIZING THE MONOMERS IN THE PRESENCE OF A FREE RADICAL GENERATING INITIATOR. THE COPOLYMER PRODUCTS ARE MELT-PROCESSABLE, RESIST ATTACK BY CORROSIVE AGENTS AND SOLVENTS, CAN BE FORMED INTO ELASTIC FIBER AND ARE ESPECCIALLY SUITABLE FOR USE IN SURFACE COATINGS HAVING HIGH WATER AND OIL REPELLENCY.
