Abstract
Abstract 7-amino-4-methylene-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo(4,2,0)oct-2-ene-2carboxylic acid compounds, in which the 4-methylene group is substituted and the 7-amino group may be acylated exhibit antibacterial properties or may be used as intermediates for the manufacture of compounds having such properties.
