Abstract
Abstract Novel processes for producing isolongifolene ketone and its epimer which comprise treating isolongifolene with a peroxygen compound under acidic conditions to obtain a substantially fully saturated ketone, as well as the saturated epimer, and perfume compositions containing such products.
