Abstract THIS INVENTION IS A METHOD FOR INCREASING THE PERMEABILITY OF UNDERGROUND FORMATIONS BY INJECTING A FLUID EXPLOSIVE INTO SUBSURFACE CREVICES AND DETONATING THE EXPLOSIVE IN THESE CREVICES. IN PARTICULAR IT RELATES TO THE PLACEMENT OF DETONATORS IN A PARTICULAR ADVANTAGEOUS WAY WHICH INCREASES SAFETY AND INSURES MORE CONSISTENT DETONATION.
