Abstract THE IMPROVED LOSS OF PHASE DETECTOR EMPLOYS A PLURALITY OF DIODES CONNECTED BETWEEN A TRANSISTOR AND A POLYPHASE A.C. POWER SYSTEM. A SIGNAL TRANSISTOR AND A SILICON UNILATERAL SWITCH PROVIDE AN ALARM SIGNAL WHEN POWER IS LOST IN ANY ONE OF THE PHASES OF THE POLYPHASE SYSTEM. FEW COMPONENTS ARE USED SOT AHT COST OF THE DETECTOR IS RELATIVELY LOW.
