Abstract
Abstract A method and device for mixing, loosening, aerating and cooling granular material is disclosed where the material to be treated is introduced into two axially arranged cylindrical containers spaced at a small distance one from another to provide a discharging gap therebetween. At least one of the containers is rotated by a driving motor so that the contacting grain layers in the gap will rub together and subsequently are discharged by centrifugal forces from the gap.
