Abstract
Abstract A group of coupling agents, of which the following are representative: 3-dimethylamino-phenylurea, 3-dimethylaminophenylthiourea, (3-hydroxy-6-methoxy)-phenylurea, (3-hydroxy-6methoxy)-phenythiourea, (2,4-dimethyl-3-hydroxy)-phenylurea, (2,4-dimethyl-3-hydroxy)-phenylthiourea, and (4-methyl-3hydroxy)-phenylthiourea. The invention also includes these couplers in association with oxidation dyes, and a method of dyeing hair using said compositions.
