Abstract

Abstract In a vectorcardiograph system, the vector loops are displayed as a plurality of teardrop-shaped dashes. The dashes are produced by modulating the beam of a cathode ray tube in response to the voltage developed across a charging capacitor. The charging rate of the capacitor is controlled by a current gate responsive to the velocity of the horizontal and vertical signals applied to the cathode ray tube. A pulse generator controls a gate to periodically discharge the capacitor, thereby to terminate one teardrop-shaped dash and begin another.
