Abstract
Abstract A mixture of a beta-primary amine and a tertiary amine, each of which has a long aliphatic hydrocarbon group, when added in minor proportion to a gasoline, will improve the distribution of the air-fuel mixture in the intake manifold of a multicylinder gasoline engine, run with the resulting blend, thereby increasing operating efficiency. A representative mixture comprises 2-amino octadecane and dimethyl hydrogenated tallow amine.
