Abstract
Abstract In dictation systems in which magnetic tape is stored in bins, unidirectional tape motion switches and related control and monitor circuits are provided to automatically return previously reversed but unlistened tape to the place where the dictation was terminated. Also provided are unidirectional switches and circuitry to determine the accumulative length of tape transcribed and/or dictated and awaiting transcription.
