Abstract COATING COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A HYDROPHILIC COLLOID AND AN ADDUCT OF A FIRST COMPOUND WHICH IS A THIAMINE WITH A SECOND COMPOUND WHICH IS GLUTARALDEHYDE OR ACRYLIC ALDEHYDE. THE COMPOSITIONS WHEN COATED UPON PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS EFFECT A SIGNIFICANT SPEED INCREASE WITHOUT DETERMENTALLY AFFECTING THE OTHER SENSITOMERIC PROPERTIES OF SAID MATERIALS.
