Abstract
Abstract A FAST-ACTING STRIPPING COMPOSITION IS EMPLOYED TO STRIP A VARIETY OF COATINGS, INCLUDING POLYURETHANE AND POLYEPOXIDE COATINGS, FROM SUBSTRATES WHICH HAD BEEN PRIMED WITH POLYVINYL BUTYRAL. THE STRIPPING COMPOSITION COMPRISES A MIXTURE OF A DIALKYL KETONE AND A SOLVENT SELECTED FROM THE GROUP CONSISTING OF DIMETHYL FORMAMIDE, TETRAHYDROFURAN, AND MIXTURES THEREOF.
