Abstract ADHESION BETWEEN THERMOSETTING RESINS AND INORGANIC OR ORGANIC FILLERS IS ENHANCED BY TREATMENT OF THE FILLER MATERIAL, PRIOR TO FORMING A COMPOSITE WITH THE RESIN, WITH A SOLUTION OF A CHROMIUM COMPLEX FORMED BY REACTION OF A CR(III) SALT WITH A C2-C11 MONOCARBOXYLIC ACID AND WITH AN ORGANIC MOLECULE HAVING TWO FUNCTIONAL GROUPS, AND CARBOXYL. COMPOSITES MADE IN THIS MANNER ARE RESISTANT TO DEGRADATION BY HOT WATER.
