Abstract

Abstract Sulfur vulcanizable, ozone resistant blends of ethylene/propylene terpolymer and conventional general purpose rubbers containing a sulfonamide/sulfur vulcanization system and capable of adhering to a conventional general purpose rubber composition on vulcanization of the two phases. These blends may be used in the construction of tire sidewalls and cover strips for pneumatic tires.
