Abstract CHLOROPRENE RUBBER COMPOSITION CONSISTING MAINLY OF A MIXTURE OF 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT CHLOROPRENE POLYMER AND 0.1 TO 20 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF POLYVINYL ALCOHOL. THE CHLOROPRENE RUBBER COMPOSITION CAN BE USED ALONE AS AN ADHESIVE. AN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION HAVING A MORE EXCELLENT STABILITY AGAINST LAYER SEPARATION IS OBTAINED BY ADDING A METAL OXIDE, AND A MODIFIED PHENOL RESIN AND CONVENTIONAL ADDITIVES TO THE RUBBER COMPOSITION.
