Abstract THIS APPLICATION DESCRIBES A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE WHICH COMPRISES SUBJECTING TO LIGHT EXPOSURE A LAYER COMPRISING A PHOTOLABILE COBALT OR IRON COMPLEX OF A SPECIFIED FORMULA AND TREATING THE EXPOSED LAYER WITH COMPOUNDS WHICH, WHEN ONE OF THEM IS OXIDISED, WILL REACT TO FORM A COLOURED OR BLACK COMPOUND.
