Abstract
Abstract Described and claimed are fluoroorganocopper compounds prepared preferably by the metathetical reaction of a fluoroorganometallic compound with a copper-containing compound. These are highly soluble in inert organic solvents and have a greater thermal stability compared to nonfluorinated organocopper compounds. Complexes are formed by interaction of fluororganocopper compounds with dioxane. Fluoroorganocopper compounds are useful for the preparation of finely divided copper metal and for copper-coating various substrates.
