Abstract SYNERGISTIC EFFECTS IN CERTAIN PHYSICAL PROPERTIES HAVE BEEN FOUND IN BLENDS OF UNMODIFIED POLYOLEFINS WITH POLYOLEFINS WHICH HAVE BEEN MODIFIED BY REACTION WITH POLYMERIZABLE COMPOUNDS DEFINED BY (CH2=C(-R2)-COO-R''-)OXIRANE AND/OR CH2=C(-R3)-(R4)(0-1)-SI(-R5)3 IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ORGANIC PEROXIDE. THE BLENDS ARE PARTICULARLY SUITABLE IN APPLICATIONS REQUIRING GOOD ADHESION TO POLAR SURFACES SUCH AS METAL AND GLASS.
