Abstract A CORROSION INHIBITING COMPOSITION OF (1) A SALT OF DICARBOXYLIC ACID AND ALIPHATIC AMINE AND (2) A SOLVATING COMPOUND CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE HYDROXYL. THE COMPOSITION IS INCORPORATED IN ANY SUBSTRATE WHICH CONTACTS METAL AND SERVES TO INHIBIT CORROSION OF THE METAL.
