Abstract
Abstract Derivatives of malononitrile oxime characterized by the following structural formula: WHEREIN X can be oxygen or sulfur; R1 is taken from the group consisting of OR2, SR3, NR4R5 and C1-C10 alkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl or C3-C10 cycloalkyl; R2, R3, R4 and R5 can be hydrogen or C1-C10 alkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl or C3C10 cycloalkyl. The above-mentioned C1-C10 alkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl and C3-C10 cycloalkyl in R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 may be unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, nitrile, nitro, thiocyano, perhaloalkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy and C1-C4 thioalkyl. These compounds are useful as soil fungicides.
