Abstract THE MIXING OF HOT GASIFIER COKE AND COLD REACTOR COKE IN A DENSE PHASE RISER TO EXCHANGE HEAT TO BE USED IN THE COKING REACTOR NOT ONLY ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR THE SEPARATE HEATER VESSEL, AS WELL AS HIGH TEMPERATURE SLIDE VALVES, IN A CONVENTIONAL FLUID COKING/STEAM GASIFICATION PROCESS, BUT ALSO RESULTS IN ADDITIONAL COKER HYDROCARBON PRODUCTS.
